I work as a PbD Engineer for Ford Motor Company, a proud owner of "I'm A Survivor, Incorporated" and "MI Healing Boutique, LLC," and a passionate writer who has found solace in the power of words. Throughout my career and personal life, I’ve embraced the fusion of creativity and engineering, building solutions while nurturing my natural gift for writing. For me, writing became a tool for healing—an outlet to express my deepest emotions, rawest secrets, and the complex experiences that shaped me. From the scars of trauma caused by family, friends, lovers, and a challenging society, I discovered the transformative power of self-reflection through the written word.
Through my blog, I aim to share this journey of healing, offering words of encouragement, relevant messaging, and artistic expression that will resonate with others. It is my belief that the stories we tell—especially the ones we are most afraid to share—hold the power to heal, uplift, and inspire. My work focuses on empowering Brown and Black women, whose strength, resilience, and unique stories continue to inspire me every day. My turbulent journey is my message: we are survivors, and we have the power to turn our pain into purpose.
